往事随风一我用过的医疗保险
生老病死是佛教认为的人生四大苦难，而医疗保险或健康保险是现代人面对它们，减轻经济负担的有效方法。我离开中国后二十多年经历过不同的医疗保险，感叹这个世界变化真快，而万变不离其宗。
上世纪90年代初，在丹麦工作过2年，丹麦是高福利国家，实行全民健保，任何人都是免费医疗，你只需要去你住的社区中心办张黄色医疗卡。那2年家人曾经去看过几次家庭医生，记得诊所就在住宅不远的一大楼里，很舒适方便，一分钱也不用掏。但也有例外，有朋友查不孕，去看社区外医生，掏了几百克朗(美金克朗1:6)。
来美国前几年，在美国的大学医院工作，医疗保险都是学校买的，非常好，虽然是HMO，但医生都在附近，牙齿，预防医学，什么都包，每次看医生copay 5块。那时年轻，几乎没用过那些医疗保险，但老大，老二都是在那期间生的，给太太接生的都是大学医院有名的妇产科教授。
再后来自己离开大学医学院，创业开公司，开始用COBRA, 说是可以保留原来的医疗保险，但用后觉得不便宜，七，八百月付，加之那时年轻，做生意刚起步，还处于亏本状态，就没再买那保险，这样没有医疗保险的状况经历了两年，直到生意有所起色。后来买个人类的医疗保险，开始是用自付额非常高的Anthem Blue Cross, 记得月费就一百左右。再后来用过不同的保险公司象HealthNet, Blue Shield，Aetna等，自付额也逐渐降下来，但月费均在四百以内，copay $10，$15不等，其间用公司名义去买过团体保险，说是可以省税，但因人少，公司付的费用很高，也就放弃了，其实用个人类医疗保险也是可以省税的，1040表中就有减免自雇医疗保险一项。
几年前开始的Obamacare一实行，我们全家医疗保险月付一下子就增加了2倍多，我们买的是银计划，门诊copay也涨到$35，随后两年又以每年30%增长，实在有点来气，实行Obamacare，我们这些中上产阶级不但没有得到任何好处，反而负担大大的加重，这也许是美国中产阶级的悲哀。美国作为世界第一强国，为什么不能实行全民健保，却搞出个不伦不类，极具争议的Obamacare。现在既然搞了，希望能借鉴其他发达国家地区象北欧，加拿大，还有台湾的经验，尽快修改完善，实现全民健保，这样才能使美国真正成为文明发达，人们安居乐业的梦幻之国。

Always a favorite work shoe. Excellent arch support. Could have gone a half size larger from what the foot size gadget at the shoe store read.

Been wearing for 3 weeks and I am very happy with them.Have been wearing $130 shoes up to this to get good Arch support but these give almost as good at less than half the price, would buy again.

This is my third pair of these shoes. I have wide feet so I have a hard time finding good shoes that fit well. These work great and each pair lasts me at least twice as long as previous shoes I have tried. They are very comfortable.

Great looking boots. Order these after having already bought a pair but size was too small so I'd suggest going up a size to be sure they fit. Delivery was fairly quick giving the pandemic and length of travel.

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOVVE THEM! The ETA was posted as 5/15- I got them on 4/29! There was a light scent of "glue" but nothing a couple of hours of airing out can't fix.
